We noticed it was your first time firing up your RT-700! Below are a few tips to get you started.
- Fill your hopper at least halfway up and place a small handful of pellets into the firepot (about a 1/4 cup of pellets). DO NOT OVERFILL THE FIREPOT.
- Reinstall internal components, set grill to 400°F, close the lid.
- Once the grill reaches 400°F, let run with the lid down for 1 hour. This will provide a final cure and remove any residue that may have accumulated during manufacturing and shipping. After this initial burn, your auger and firepot are primed, and your grill is ready for cooking.
